Opis
Albrecht Durer 1471-1528 undoubtedly ranks among the greatest artists of the Renaissance. His works, such as the Hare and the Self-portrait in Fur-trimmed Coat, are icons of art history and of inestimable value.
Durer was provocative, curious, a brilliant creator and a visionary genius. He painted himself with equal self-assurance, whether in the pose of Christ or completely naked, studied the principles of human proportions, was a master of self-marketing, and created the first logo in history with his initials. His woodcuts and engravings remain unrivalled: printed and distributed in their thousands, they made Durer and his works famous throughout Europe.
